Can pay for a Tablet and other engaging distractions for young people on child protection orders to use in the Cubby House while they wait for decisions about their futures to be made in court.
The Cubby House provides a customised safe space for children and young people under the care of the Department of Health and Human Services in both the Broadmeadows and Melbourne Children’s Courts.
The Foundation’s Cubby House provides a safe, calming and comfortable atmosphere, and reduces anxiety and fear in a secure environment. Skilled youth workers are on-hand with activities, support and a range of distractions to support them during this time.
