What is the CommUnity platform?
The CommUnity giving platform is your one-stop shop to donate, fundraise or volunteer your time at a wide range of respected Australian charities with greater choice and flexibility than ever before.
Through this
platform permanent employees can contribute their time, skills or money in any
of the following ways, and Insignia Financial will match your
pre-tax donations
up to $1200 per employee
per financial year.
What's so great about it?
The CommUnity platform is our centralised workplace giving vehicle. It provides you with an easy and flexible way to contribute your time, money or skills to a wide range of respected Australian charities.
Unlike some other platforms, 100% of your donations go to the charity as we cover all the administration costs. Insignia Financial will also match your pre-tax donations up to$1200 per employee per financial year, to help ‘give more’ to the communities we work with.
Who's it for?
All Insignia Financial employees can participate in the CommUnity giving platform. This includes contingent workers and contractors who have the option of making make credit card contributions. Family and friends can also get involved by supporting your fundraising efforts.

Insignia Financial have partnered with GoodCompany (aka Good Company Enterprises) to deliver the CommUnity platform. Extensive research of the market was undertaken to land this agreement and we believe GoodCompany share similar values to Insignia Financial and can safely meet our needs and help us better support the communities we work with.
GoodCompany was founded in 1999, offering Australia’s first Skilled Volunteer portal. Today, GoodCompany is an exciting hybrid social enterprise supporting over 1,500 of Australia's most respected charities and inspiring a new generation of professionals who can make a positive difference in our communities.
We’re proud and excited to be joining the likes of Optus, Medibank, ANZ, Origin and many more to continue the journey of workplace giving and help you connect with those in need.
Is it safe?
Insignia Financial have partnered with GoodCompany to administer the CommUnity giving platform. Extensive research of the market was undertaken to land this partnership and we believe GoodCompany share similar values to Insignia Financial and can safely meet our needs.
All ‘payroll’ donations you make on the CommUnity platform are processed by Insignia Financial Payroll and distributed by GoodCompany to the various charities on our behalf. Credit Card transactions are managed through the well recognised eWay Payment Gateway.
If you are a permanent employee, your personal information (name, email, mobile, state, employee ID) is used only for the purposes of administering the CommUnity platform and will only be made visible to Insignia Financials Payroll, the CommUnity team and GoodCompany. Your remuneration details are not shared with GoodCompany.

All charities listed within the CommUnity platform undergo significant due diligence to ensure they meet the Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR1) requirements. The same process applies for any new charity we may on-board.
